Liz Chileno
Liz Chileno began her tennis journey at the age of nine under the guidance of her father and quickly ascended the competitive ranks in her home country of Paraguay. She held the No. 1 national junior ranking in multiple age divisions and proudly represented Paraguay as the top-ranked player in the South American Championships. At 14, she qualified for the U16 European Tour and went on to become the No. 1 ranked U16 player in South America. Liz also competed in three professional tournaments, earning her first WTA points and a place on the professional circuit.
At 18, Liz received a full athletic scholarship to the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), a Division I program, where she competed for four years in both singles and doubles—primarily at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. As team captain, she played a key role in leading the team to a Top-60 national ranking and three conference championships, while also earning multiple individual honors.
Liz has significant coaching experience, having trained elite juniors, competitive players, and adults at the Houston Spring Academy. She has also coached at various clubs and country clubs in Paraguay, focusing on player development and performance improvement. Following her playing career, she served as a Graduate Assistant for UTA’s men's and women’s tennis teams while completing her Master of Business Administration.
With her rich background in both playing and coaching, Liz is passionate about helping players of all ages and levels refine their technique, build strong match strategies, and reach their full potential on the court.
