Enrico Chicone Recchia
Enrico Chicone Recchia is a 22-year-old student-athlete currently pursuing a degree in Business Management at the University of Mobile. He began playing tennis at the age of five, and the sport has been a central part of his life ever since. During his junior career in Brazil, Enrico achieved a national ranking of No. 50 in the U16 category and climbed into the Top 30 in the U18 division. His performance on the international junior circuit provided him the opportunity to continue his tennis career at the collegiate level in the United States.
Enrico began his college journey at Barton Community College, where he continued to grow both athletically and academically. He later transferred to Riverside City College in California, where he studied Business Management and earned All-Conference honors for his outstanding achievements on the court. In 2023, Enrico transferred to the University of Mobile, where he was named to the All-Academic Team in recognition of his commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the tennis court.
Beyond his impressive playing career, Enrico has built a strong foundation in coaching. He has worked at a well-known sleep-away tennis camp in Maine, as well as at the highly regarded Net Results Summer Program in Boston, Massachusetts. His coaching experience includes working with players of various ages and levels, always bringing energy, dedication, and professionalism to the court.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Enrico is known for his strong communication skills, confidence, and creativity. His disciplined and consistent approach, combined with a genuine passion for tennis and business, drives him to make a meaningful impact both on and off the court.
