Buck Hillers are known for being passionate about entertaining guests just about as much as they love spending time on their cottage porches and visiting our namesake waterfall. This month, Buck Hill Falls shares the excitement of enjoying delicious culinary experiences with the nation!  The Chef’s Kitchen is one of the top cooking television programs and showcases the country’s most exclusive restaurants, featuring tips and techniques from award-winning chefs, bakers, sommeliers, and top gastronomic talents.

Our Food and Beverage Director of the Fairway Grille at Buck Hill Falls, Joe Tripodi, spent some time on this lively reality show sharing his unique discipline, culinary knowledge, commitment to locally produced foods, and creativity with the tv show’s audience. His eye-catching dish, Tequila Lime Crab Avocado Sphere with Fried Plantain was a big hit with Chef’s Kitchen host, Nicole Gaffney who loved the balance of flavors, textures, and the seasoning in the dish. She couldn’t wait to dive in for a second bite of the finished dish exclaiming, “I’m going in for another one.”
