The Buck Hill Art Association, founded in 1933, is dedicated to fostering, inspiring and promoting an appreciation of all aspects of the cultural arts in the community. The art association sponsors art instruction in Camp Club, offers summer studio classes, holds exhibits, and awards scholarships to area students pursuing arts education. The association also maintains an impressive collection of art purchased over a period of years, some of which is displayed in our own Kerby Library and other community buildings.
The Art Association’s annual Fine Arts Festival and Marketplace weekend is a highlight of the summer, bringing superb artists and skilled craftsmen to Buck Hill for a weekend of exhibits, demonstrations, and sales.
Additionally, the art association offers also offers classes and seasonal sketching.
