Public Tennis Complex and Members’ Tennis Club

DJI00413Buck Hill Falls established a tennis facility with six clay tennis courts in 1913. Today, the tennis complex is the best in the region, including 10 tennis courts with high-quality Har-Tru surfaces, as well as a staff of tennis professionals and a pro shop offering everything from tennis clothing and balls to racket try-outs, restringing, and grip changes.

Players finished with their own games can sun themselves on the terrace while watching the action on the courts. And with the pool only a stone’s-throw away from the courts, it’s easy to cap off a long match with a refreshing dip, or a meal at the Pool Grille.

Events throughout the season create numerous opportunities to be part of the Buck Hill Tennis community:

  • Events, clinics, and mixers begin on Memorial Day weekend and continue until Labor Day.
  • Annual special events such as ProAms (professional exhibition matches), Member-Member and Member-Guest Tournaments, and the Parent-Child Tournament are often followed by social activities, including BBQs on the terrace.

Our accelerated summer schedule includes events for men, women, and mixed doubles, as well as an outstanding Junior Program. Weekly tennis, pizza, and movie nights draw kids into the program at a young age and USTA children’s tournaments introduce them to competition. For adults, structured round robins, social mixers, clinics, and inter-club ladders build skills and add to the fun.
