Buck Hill and the surrounding Poconos have a wealth of cycling options, both on road and off. Roadies can ride for hours in and around Buck Hill on paved roads and gravel trails ranging from gently rolling to epically challenging. Buck Hill alone has 34 miles of paths and trails on 5,500 acres.
Popular road rides include loops to Skytop (10 miles roundtrip), Promised Land (30 miles) and Lake Wallenpaupack (up to 60), all on roads with shoulders and light traffic.
There are gravel trails and forest paths throughout Buck Hill and nearby at Skytop and Promised Land State Park.
Mountain bikers have plenty of offroad trail options too, ranging from Beginner (Promised Land State Park) through Intermediate (Big Pocono State Park, above Camelback Ski Area) to Expert (Allamuchy in NJ, Eales Preserve in Jessup, PA, among others).
